Frequently Asked Questions

- Examine technical specifications together with aesthetic characters of the product.

- If you tile the product on floors where there would be intense people traffic, please examine the technical specifications page. You will see exampled explanations.

- If you will tile to the outside, our porcelain products should be chosen. If flooring tile will be applied, then adhesive suitable to this properties, and water-resistant, frost-proof grouting material should be used.

- Do not tile wall tiles to the floor or outer spaces.

- You can tile floor tiles to walls by using suitable adhesives.

- Before specifying ceramic needs, you need to decide what kind of tiling you will make. Diagonal or parallel? When considering total area, the lengths in meters used is not changed. However, cutting losses may be more depending on the type of flooring and the shape of the area furnished.
- You should decide the joint space between tiles. Generally, it is preferred as 2-3 mm in small dimensions, 3 mm in medium dimensions, and 3-4 mm in bigger dimensions.
- We do not recommend to tile ceramic applications without joints.
- The amount of ceramics (in m2) to be used as a skirting should be determined.
- We recommend you to give your orders as 10% excess by estimating to be used as a modification purpose in the future. Please note that, you may not be able to find the continuation of the product or the same color tone.
-  Store the excess product together with its package.

Stoklama yapılırken, yer karosu paletlerinin en fazla üst üste 4 kat, duvar karosu paletlerinin ise en fazla 3 kat istiflenmesini öneririz.

We recommend stacking floor time pallets as 4 layers at maximum, and wall tile pallets as 3 layers at maximum when stocking.

When transporting tiles without pallets as freely, we recommend to tie with rope or similar materials and using brackets. This application will prevent the movement and crack of tiles within the vehicle.

Stacking direction of the free tiles should be in the direction which the producer arranged. Tiles should be stacked vertically. It is especially not recommended to stack large tiles horizontally.

In stacking without pallets, it is important to protect cardboard boxes used as a packaging material against humid.

- Check your order in person.
- Please pay attention that the boxes unopened.
- Read the usage instructions on the box.
- Please pay attention that the color and caliber codes on the package are the same. Do not tile products having different codes on the same place. Color differences may be seen for the products produced different times. Caliber means the dimension range of the products. It is important to tile the same codes and calibers in ceramic applications.
- After taking delivery of our products, open boxes from different products and lay down. If it is required to make a feedback, it should be made in this point. Feedbacks made from tiled products will not accepted.

- The area where the product to be applied should be adequately illuminated.
- The surface where the application to be made should be clean.
- The surface of application should be even.
- The surface should be saturated to the water at least 24 hours before.
- Especially in dry and hot weather conditions, tiles should be moisturized in order to prevent sudden moist loss of the adhesive mortar before starting tiling.
- Directions for use on the package should be followed when preparing adhesive mortar.
- Directions for use on the package should be followed when preparing grouting mortar.
- Adhesive mortar and joint filling material should be cleaned before drying on the surface of the tile.
- Anti-slip products are intended for outdoor only, and you can apply to wet floors, pool sides. Never apply these products indoors.
- Since our glazed granite and  Digital Tile (Kerajet) products are highly resistant products, they should be cut with hydraulic ceramic cutting machines not ordinary ceramic cutting machines.

- Tiles should be distributed to the surface regularly and harmonically. Joint holes should be equal.
- There should be no camber or cavity on the surface of the floor.
- No level differences such as stairs can be allowed.
- No cracks, breaks or dislocation in the tiles.
- No cracks or dislocations in the joints.

- Cleaners (such as metal fiber brush) having abrasive characteristics should not be used on shiny surfaces.
- Cleaners sold in the supermarkets having a high degree of acidity will not damage to the surface of the tile, however these products will damage cement based joint fillings.
- Epoxy based joint filling materials are resistant to acid and alkali compounds.
- Some traces can be occurred as a result of movement of metal foot furniture on ceramic surfaces. This is the trace of the worn out metal. Acid based cleaning materials can remove these stains.
- Please pay attention not to drop heavy and firm materials to the ceramic surfaces.

Printing of some of our products may vary tile from tile. We know that there is no any equal substance in the nature. In here, it is aimed to imitate the nature and create a visual beauty. These products have been produced with random printing technology.

We apply the following color code classification system as a color code on the box labels for the purpose of providing our products as separate lots without mixing tone differences which may occur during production. Please pay attention that the color tone

Dear customer;

According to the changes in the prints of pattern due to the design of our products, the color tone changes indicated on the labels of the boxes are made as follows. When it is opened 1 box from the product you purchased, changes in the patterns and views between the tiles found in the box are varied with respect to the design of the products.

Color and texture difference between the tiles from the same lot is very low which cannot be seen as a result of the nature of the material.

There are clear differences in surface texture and printing patterns among the tiles having similar colors.

Main colors in one single tile can be found in other tiles. However color intensity shows differences between tiles. This is generally used in rustic tiles.

Color differences can be observed from one tile to another. Thus, color of one tile can be different from another one. However, a harmony is observed between colors. These kinds of products can be found in the boxes in a random order. This is a design approach which is generally used in rustic tiles. Color and texture variation can be controlled in our facilities. This is a parameter, and it is developed in the stage of product development as a requirement of market demands and design.

Because of the variability of the raw materials used in the ceramic industry and the operating conditions (furnace temperature, press pressures etc.), the calibers of the ceramics taken out of the furnace at the same time are not the same. Thus, before presenting our products to our customers, we carry out a caliber analysis in our automatic machines. In order not to encounter caliber problems with the product floored, you should always buy the products with the same caliber data on their box labels. In case you have to floor with products in different calibers, they should not be used in the same setting.

Floor tiles have different slipping properties based on their surface characteristics. The antislip value is expressed with R. Tiles with an antislip value of R9-R13 should be selected according to the usage properties of the setting to be floored. (STANDARD DIN 51130)

Abrasion Resistance Classification
The abrasion resistance classification of glazed earthenware is determined using the P.E.I. method as per the Turkish and International Standards.

PEI I    Ceramic tile can be used on floors where no abrasive materials are placed and where you walk bare-footed or wearing soft base shoes.
PEI II   Ceramic tile can be used on floors where few abrasive materials are placed sometimes and where you walk wearing normal base shoes.
PEI III  Ceramic tile can be used on floors where few abrasive materials are placed sometimes and where you walk wearing normal base shoes.
PEI IV  Ceramic tile can be used on floors where abrasive materials are placed and which has a busy traffic.
PEI V   Ceramic tile can be used on floors where abrasive materials are placed often and which has busy foot traffic.
